To agree to the purchase of three 26 Tonnes Refuse Collection Vehicles and one 12 Tonnes Refuse Collection Vehicle from Dennis Eagle Ltd at a total cost of £625,219.50.

 

To note the Most Economically Advantageous Tender, which is the lowest price, is being accepted.

 

To agree, In accordance with Financial Procedure 16, the disposal of 4 vehicles (displayed on Appendix A) via auction. Disposal will be managed by GSP through an agreed corporate process. 

                                                                                                                                                        

To note the 4 newly procured vehicles will be replacing 4 vehicles over 7 years of age that are currently due for replacement.

 

To note the replacement vehicles being accepted have Euro VI diesel engines that are fully compliant with Transport for London’s Low Emissions Zone and are the greenest diesel engines available for such vehicle types. Zero-emission variants are not in full production and are on a prototype basis only.
