To receive apologies from Members of the Panel.

The Chair to announce any items of urgent business circulated separately from the main agenda.

Members to declare any personal and financial interests in items on the agenda. Attention is drawn to the Council’s Constitution; the Council’s Code of Conduct and associated advice.

Members are requested to confirm as an accurate record the Minutes of the meeting held on 22 January 2025.

No motion or discussion may take place upon the Minutes except as to their accuracy, and any question on this point will be determined by a majority of the Members of the body attending who were present when the matter in question was decided. Once confirmed, with or without amendment, the person presiding will sign the Minutes

To consider a report on education outcomes in 2024 and make recom-mendations to the Executive, if necessary.

To consider the Cabinet Member Update Report and make recommendations to the Executive, if necessary.

To consider the report on Social Worker recruitment, retention and well-being and make recommendations to the Executive, if necessary.

To consider the update report on the Children’s Services’ contribution to the delivery of savings as part of the Medium Term Financial Strategy 2024/25 and make recommendations to the Executive, if necessary.

To discuss the items to consider for the 2025-26 work programme.

To note the work items that are scheduled to be presented at the meeting of the Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel taking place on 16th April 2025.
