To agree to a salary range of £90,800 - £101,318 for an additional post of Assistant Director of Public Health / Consultant in Public Health posts (Chief Officer Grade D) in accordance with the Council’s Pay Policy Statement:

Agreed a salary range of £90,800 - £101,318 for an additional post of Assistant Director of Public Health / Consultant in Public Health posts (Chief Officer Grade D) in accordance with the Council’s Pay Policy Statement:

Noted that the Chief Executive has delegated authority to establish, in consultation with the Party Group Leaders, individual Appointment Panels for the appointment of Chief Officers based on the requirements of the post.

 

Minutes:

The Assistant Chief Executive (Change and Development) presented the report.

 

During discussion of the matters Members suggested that the pay level process be reviewed, and that LGA benchmarking on the matter be sought.

Resolved –

 

That a salary range of £90,800 - £101,318 for an additional post of Assistant Director of Public Health / Consultant in Public Health posts (Chief Officer Grade D) be agreed in accordance with the Council’s Pay Policy Statement:
