Noted the projected demand for school places in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the key points set out in the Executive Summary under Section 3 of the report.


Agreed the proposals for delivering additional primary and secondary school places up to 2022, as specified in Sections 8 and 9 of the report.


Agreed if the earlier decision to expand Ark Greenwich Free School is to be revoked.


Agreed to remodel Eltham Hill School by one form of entry, as detailed in Section 9 of the report.


Noted the projected demand for places in the Royal Borough of Greenwich for children with special educational needs and disabilities, and consider proposals for how this demand will be met, as set out in Section 11 of the report.


Noted the increased capital funding allocation of £3,468,346 received by Royal Greenwich from the Department for Education (DfE) to create additional special needs places and improve existing facilities over a three year period from 2018/19.


Agreed the proposed re-allocation of available funding, secured s106 developer contributions and unused programme contingencies, in accordance with changing priorities, as set out in Section 12 of this report, in line with the Council’s Scheme of Delegation and delegate to the Directors of Children’s Services and Regeneration Enterprise and Skills (DRES) the authority to vary the Capital Programme as may be required to address future needs within the agreed level of resources.
