Agreed to the appointment of A & E Elkins Limited as the most economically advantageous tender for the procurement of the Term Contract to support delivery of the Local Authority New Build (LANB) Programme as a building contractor on behalf of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Noted that the indicative contract sum for phase 1 works of 791 properties used for tender evaluation purposes of £171,659,178.12 is not a fixed contract price but is approved for budget purposes for phase 1 such that if this sum is exceeded then further approval will be sought to expend a higher figure.

Noted that the initial contract term is 5 years with incremental extensions available up to a maximum of 10 years should the Royal Borough of Greenwich wish to extend the contract and the contractors performance warrant such extension.

Agreed to treat the information presented at the Confidential Appendices as exempt under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972, Schedule 12A on the basis of “Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information)”.

Agreed that the exempt information, presented in the Confidential Appendices is not subsequently released to the press or public.
