Woolwich Polytechnic School.
Agreed the total budget of £294,208 based on a feasibility report produced
by Ingleton Wood LLP to carry out the
required adaptive works to the School as noted in section 4 of this report.
Noted that as part of the risk management
strategy related to COVID-19 the design is being progressed to RIBA Stage 3
inclusive of mechanical & electrical design and building fabric specifications
which will help with cost certainty
Noted that Procurement of a Contractor for
the scheme has not yet been tendered for nor has the Scheme yet been developed with
detailed design work, as a result it is difficult to accurately predict the
project costs. Therefore, a risk
allowance has been included in the project budget to cater for such uncertainties
should they arise during RIBA stages 2-7.
Delegated to the Director of Regeneration,
Enterprise and Skills in consultation with the Director of Children’s Services
the authority to vary the scheme in accordance with identified priorities.
This decision is subject to call-in until 5pm 11 June 2020.
