Decision:

Agreed to award Housing for Women (H4W) a contract to provide support for survivors escaping domestic abuse (DA), both accommodation based and floating support with single point of contact referral/information advice and administration support for RBG Sanctuary Scheme. The contract price is at £383,250.26 per annum and will commence on 1st April 2019 and expire in 4 years on 31st March 2023 with an option for the council to extend for an additional 2 years.  The total value of the contract over the course of funding, including the option to extend for 2 years, will be £2,299,501.56.

15/03/2019 - Contract Award for Asbestos Surveys, Consultancy and Air Test Monitoring for Council Housing and associated common areas 2721 ref: 7012    Recommendations Approved

Decision:

Approved the award of two term contracts for carrying out asbestos surveys, consultancy and air testing to Council owned and managed properties to Tersus Consultancy Limited and Pennington Choices Limited for a maximum 5-year contract (3 + 1 + 1). This would equate to a maximum value of £1,140,860 for Tersus Consultancy Ltd and £1,297,800 for Pennington Choices Ltd with an overall value across the two contracts of £2,438,660. Costs were evaluated by Fusion 21 and based on the total cost of the tender submitted by Supply Partner(s).

 

Noted that officers consider the costs to be a maximum value. It is believed the contractors will be able to provide the required level of works at their tendered price and expected volume.
