No motion or discussion may take place upon the Minutes except as to their accuracy, and any question on this point will be determined by a majority of the Members of the body attending who were present when the matter in question was decided.  Once confirmed, with or without amendment, the person presiding will sign the Minutes.

Prior approval is sought for the demolition of existing footbridge, installation of a replacement footbridge with new lifts shafts, associated lift motor rooms, creation of a new access walkway and construction of a new bin store.

Decision:

Granted prior approval for the demolition of existing footbridge, installation of a replacement footbridge with 2 new lifts shafts, associated lift motor rooms, creation of a new access walkway and construction of a new bin store.

 

subject to:

(i)           Condition 1 set out in Appendix 2 of the report dated 16 October 2018                                                                                                                           

(ii)          The condition set out in the Updated Addendum report dated 14 November 2018

 

And subject to the following condition imposed at the meeting of 14 November 2018

 

The existing bridge makers plaque shall be retained and re-positioned elsewhere at the station at a location to be agreed in writing by the local planning authority prior to commencement of demolition of the bridge.

 

Reason: To retain a historical feature of the bridge, in the interest of heritage conservation and in accordance with the NPPF, Policy 7.8 of the London Plan and policy DH3 of the Royal Greenwich Local Plan: Core Strategy with Detailed Policies (July 2014).
